The Wallum Sedgefrog, also known as the Olongburra frog or the sharp-snouted reed frog, is a species of acid frog that inhabits the thick and often acidic marshes of the Wallum along the coast of Queensland and New South Wales.

Varying in colour from brown to dark green, this frog is known as a great climber, due to its partially webbed fingers and toes.

Interesting Fact

The Wallum-Sedgefrog is most vocal in the afternoon and evening, so if you’re out for stroll around Aura after a spring / summer shower, listen for the distinctive Wallum Sedgefrog call ‘creek-crik’.
