Flora
A tufted perennial herb, Christmas Bells have narrow, channelled, linear leaves and produce between two and twenty large, drooping, bell-shaped flowers.
Christmas Bells benefits greatly from fire with an enhanced flowering response in the first post-fire flowering season- in fact, contact with regular fire has been found to be beneficial to the health of the species.
The herb’s red and yellow flowers typically bloom from November to March, which is where the name Christmas Bells is derived.
